About Us
Stream of Wisdom Language Center was established in December 1999 emphasizing both language and cultural education. We believe that language is not only essential in everyday communication but also significant in promoting inter-cultural understanding and development. While devoting ourselves to quality language education, we have been doing our best to provide students with every opportunity of cultural exposure.
The school moved to its present location at Breakthrough Center, Jordan in May 2005. Along with the increase in the floor area and the number of classrooms, we have upgraded the learning facilities as well. Upon the approval from the Education Bureau, the school was also issued the registration certificate. Recently, quite a number of qualified and experienced teachers joined our team introducing diversities to our language courses, including Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, English and so on.
We now have more than 8000 students enrolled in our various language courses. Apart from local residents, our student body comprises individuals from Japan, Korea, Thailand, India, Nepal, the Philippines, America, Australia, Taiwan, Mainland China, etc. It is encouraging to see the number continue to grow. The core courses of our school are divided into elementary, intermediate and advanced levels. In addition, we provide private adult and children classes, as well as business language training, to meet the need of students from various background.
In order to provide better language education services to our students, we have been searching for practical teaching materials for many years.
In 2012, we set up a publishing department SOW EASY STORE to produce our own exclusive and self-composed teaching materials for sale. We have combined our years of teaching experience to produce a series of teaching materials suitable for Hong Kong people learning foreign languages and foreigners learning Cantonese.
Message from the Principal
The school now boasts more than 8,000 students from all over the world after starting out with only a few dozen some twenty years ago. By the grace and direction of God, the school has expanded from having only four languages to having eleven, including Japanese, Korean, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Thai, Mandarin, Cantonese, and even Arabic.
In order to offer our students the greatest language courses possible, we not only recruit the best qualifying teachers but also continue to perfect our course design and delivery methodology. Our courses are student-centered, hence the study schedule is continually being reviewed and modified in response to the student’s learning progress. We strive to keep up with the latest learning trends by introducing new online courses and improved facilities, consequently, our students can carry on with their education remotely and continue to boost their competitiveness.
We are convinced that being able to speak and use a foreign language is pivotal for any prospective study-abroad students, working professionals with a career goal, or those who plan to immigrate overseas, particularly in this fast-growing metropolitan city of Hong Kong. Making every effort to support our students find fun in picking up a foreign language with ease is one of our core missions.
